Junk Mail, Junk Mail, Cool Mail...

"Balloon Glasses"
Just when I thought it might be a pretty dry week and that all that would be received were flyers from the local businesses with promises of Black Friday deals (no, it really doesn't exist here in Canada, but that's another story.).
Can you spot the "Balloon Glasses" in this mail art?
My first piece of glory came from my mail pal, Dean, who really is one of the funniest people in this universe. If you go back a few posts, you can view some of the postal comedy he has sent me. This time around, I have received this wonderful piece with a history of Hot Air Ballooning. I'm kind of mad about Hot Air Balloons and want to own my own dirigible. I sent Dean a pair of "Balloon Glasses" previously, hence the theme.
And, now for a bit of "ballooning history"

The other lovely piece I got was what I like to refer to as the "unexpected surprise". Mail art that just comes out of the aether. This is better then chocolate, ok? So, a big thank you to you, Sherri from California, and I would be very happy to join your "7 Deadly Sins" mail art call.
Lovely, isn't it?

Two Good Mail Days In A Row...Sweet!

After a really dry week of not receiving anything, but Christmas flyers, came these 2 lovely pieces of mail. One from Lee Goldberg (top) and the other from Guido Vermeulen (bottom).
I get cool mail and my postal person is really, really swell.
